《忆故人》，传为东汉蔡邕所作。最早收录于清朝《荻灰馆琴谱》。今时流行谱本，则见载于民国《今虞琴刊》（1937年）。曲调清逸、幽婉、悠远、动人心魄，每当静中奏之，往往不觉时间之长短，而相思无尽。
《Recollect old friend》 composed by Cai Yong of Eastern Han Dynasty, which was firstly recorded in 《 Guqin tunes of Dihui Hall》. The edition spread at present was firstly recorded in 《Qin Journals of Jinyu》 (1937). The tune is fresh and elegant, profound and complicated, distant and striking. When playing in tranquility, the player always forgets the time and develops endless yearning.
